Was there ever an arrest in the "Jesse" James Hughes murder? I really liked
the guy. What a heart in the ring. Remember how he would be taking a
beating and kept pushing and pushing ahead to eventually KO his opp. in the
final rounds? I think he finally made it to a NABF belt. Anyone?

The Outlaw was something to watch in the ring, no question about that. The way he wore down opponents, often while well behind on points, sometimes after absorbing heavy punishment, was really something to witness. R.I.P. Jesse.

I met Jesse in prison. He showed some boxing. I was heavily into kick boxing. He was a really good man. He really loved to run. The more he ran the more he wanted to run. Hr taught me if you have strong legs you can beat almost anyone. I heard some stories about who may have killed him but I never paid them any attention. Most stories from the streets can't be believed. So many people loved him ,but a ton hated him too. Sad loss for the boxing community and the world.

Do you remember who may have killed him and what the circumstances were?
