Post by SkippyPBPost by EdmundWho would win this match ?
Mike Tyson in his prime (when he was the youngest heavyweight
champion)
VS Muhammad Ali in his prime ( during those great Ali - Frazier bouts)
I think Iron Mike would knock him out in 30 seconds but my older
buddies at work think I'm crazy.
hi
Well this question will come up over and over again.
Personally I am with Ali, his opinion that is, which means that Ali
himself expected to be knocked out by Tyson and so do I.
Edmund
I seriously doubt Muhammad Ali ever said Mike Tyson would beat him.
That in no way change the fact that he did.
Post by SkippyPBIt is utterly preposterous. Ali was so much better than Tyson he would
indeed beat Tyson.
You are entitled to have an opinion too.
Post by SkippyPBTyson was a power punching plodding boxer. Ali had
heavyweight power and lightweight speed. Styles make fights and Ali's
style would infuriate and stymie Tyson. Hell, Tyson couldn't beat
Evander Holyfield, how in the hell could he beat an even better boxer?
Well you can skip the part that don't fit your opinion but that question
was about IN HIS PRIME!
Evander -HGH- Holifield didn't fight a Tyson anywhere near Tyson's prime
so making this remark is absurd.
I am aware of your strategy comparing a past Rooney Tyson to make it
fit your opinion but it doesn't make sense at all.
There never was anything like a prime Tyson after Kevin Rooney.
Following your cherry picked logic, Kevin Mc Bride is a better boxer then
Tyson right? Well I don't think you will find many people to agree on
that.

alian-in-depth-analysis-of-who-would-really-win
I heard it all before just as I heard all the self proclaimed experts at
the time about Ali's changes BEFORE he knocked out Foreman.
I heard all the BS at the time from the - well some- "experts" about the
prime Tyson that could not fight more then 3 rounds... well he could, he
did and he loved it.
Everyone has an opinion and none of us can claim to know it all, at the
time Tyson proved all the self proclaimed expert criticizers to be wrong
in his -far too short- prime.
Anyone criticize him now are without exception come up with something not
by a mile representing his prime.
