... Pacquiao-Bradley III?

What? :)

In the first fight Pac-Man was very strong, and
Bradley was outgunned but in spots fought bravely,
especially considering he hurt his foot early on.
Bradley lost the fight big on everyone's scorecards
except the judges.

I don't know if Bradley got to the judges soft-spot
because of not quitting due to his hurt foot.

Another possibility is the third fight Pacquiao had
with Marquez which was right before the Bradley fight.
Tho a close fight with Marquez, the crowd, and most
other people including the fighters, had Marquez
winning. Pacquiao later denied it, but he is
a terrible lier, and besides after the fight he got
caught on camera whispering to Freddie Roach "I can't
believe it".

But actually he might have been affected as well by
the crowd and the confidence of Marquez because it
*was* a close fight, with I'd say Marquez winning by
one or two rounds. (One judge had it even.
Remember that this was during the worst Pac-Man mania.
The fanatic Filipino Las Vegas gamblers hade made
Marquez a seven to one underdog! His fists spoke
another language, for sure.)

Anyway a lot of people had that fight controversial so
perhaps the judges had it against Pacquiao in his
Bradley fight. I don't know. It is still strange!

It is telling that after the Bradley fight all
Pacquiao said was like it is all good, don't loose
faith in boxing etc. etc., and that he wouldn't take
part in a rematch because he didn't have anything to
prove to Bradley, and instead he would fight Marquez
for the fourth time - no matter the super-exiting
previous three fights (exiting for both him and the
fans), *he* felt he had something to prove to Marquez!

In the second Bradley fight Bradley stood up better
but as in most Bradley fights there was no real theme
or character to the fight and he lost again, and this
time even the judges were in agreement.

So why fight again? Not mentioning the usual reasons,
this sure won't go down in boxing history as a classic
triology...

Interesting view: I reject it completely. Pacquiao, specifically
agains Bradley which he's beaten twice, and we all know that, is not a
fight anybody wanted to see again. There's probably 4 or 5 fighters I
*would* have paid to see him fight. Bradley wasn't one of them. It
promised nothing new, and it delivered on its promise.
