Great fight, two guys that have incredible accuracy and endurance. If
either/both of them had about 30% more defensive skills they would have
longer careers.

When Fonfara backs up he stands straight up, eastern european style.
This is what will have him getting significantly hurt at the highest
ranks of the division.

Very predictable styles, "you hit me, I hit you." Thank goodness there was little power displayed by either man.

You really think so? It wasn't a matter of both boxers just being able
to really take a punch? Fonfara is one of few boxers that has gone the
distance with Adonis Stevenson after all. Both Cleverly and Fonfara
have a fair knock-out ratio around 47/50% respectively, but that hardly
means anything if you look at the level of competition a well-managed
boxer has coming up--enough to win.

Still, Fonfara will have my eternal gratitude for putting Julio Cesar
Chavez Jr. on his royal ass and quitting. Admittedly this is after
Junio had decided his gut was a light-heavy and took 9 runs of
defenseless punishment.

If there had been 10% more force in either boxer's ability the fight
would have been short. Wasn't there a fight trainer--maybe Freddie
Roach--that was known for his ability to teach boxers to punch with
more power? They could both use him.
