I suppose I can watch all 250 hours of rowing, swimming, diving,
gymnastics, field hocky, volleyball and biking, but I'd really like to
watch boxing since I know it's currently underway.

Seems, as they did last time, they are only going to televise the last
8 fights, and these only if they include American boxers. I've had an
opportunity to watch like 8 elimination heats of rowing so far.

Does anybody know a way to see the many other, apparently unimportant
boxing matches?

Answer: If you get NBC Sports (220 on DirecTV), then you can download
and make use of their app on your iPad or iPhone. The iPhone program
sorta sucks, gives a reduced display of the actual matches, and tends
to play commercials (the same 2 commercials) every round or so which
really gets irritating.

The iPad program, though, works brilliantly and if you have an Apple
TV, as I do, you can stream it direct to your HD tv. In this way you
have access to both programs, the morning and the evening competitions,
for everyday so far, each of which is at least 2+ hours. So I'll be
doing some significant catch-up over the next few days.

Thank me; thank me very much for the help.
