Where is Dr. Terry Christle, middleweight?

He fought a losing eight roundmiddleweight fight against David Tiberi in the
late Eighties (he would have probably won had it gone ten since he was coming
on strong late in the fight as Tiberi was tiring) and then went on to finish
his U.S. medical residency requirements. Does anybody know if he is still
involved with boxing either as a physician or a trainer and/or where he is
practicing surgery these days?
He retunred to Ireland, and is residing and practicing medicine in the town he was born in Kilkenny. He ended his boxing career with a resonding defeat. I know him,the way he conducts himself in interviews, and how he is in real life are like night and day. He is one of the nastiest people I have ever met in my life.

Being kind and cuddly is not required of professional fighters. But sometimes with the passage of time, such fighters do become more reasonable. No guarantees.

I heard he went back to Ireland where he is practicing medicine. But my
information is several years old. My guess is he figured if he couldn't
get a decision over a mediocre fighter like Tiberi it was time to hang up
the gloves.

I checked his record and it seems to a fair good collection of victories.

He did win most of his fights, but at the same time, he never fought anyone that was on the level of a Marvin Haggler. The one time he did fight someone who was a decent fighter, he lost. If you've ever seen that fight, at one point right in the middle of a round where he was taking some punishment, he turned and ran to his corner. Everyone was like what are you doing, including Dave Tiberi, who was left just standing in the middle of the ring!
